The Project

The predecessor of Tritech Solutions, together with its Mexican partner, was invited by the Dutch government to realise a Mexican-Dutch cooperation for the implementation of water projects, which required the application of sustainable Dutch environmental technology.

The first step was to demonstrate and apply the construction of an 18,000m2 water basin to collect rainwater. The collected water will be used for agricultural purposes as well as drinking water for livestock. In addition, the project will reduce groundwater abstraction, benefiting regional biodiversity. The project is based on the demand-driven request of Mexican national and regional authorities, which have expressed the need to build such water basins. For this Project Tritech Solutions successfully applied for a certificate that ensures that Trisoplast is suitable for construction of water ponds for (human) drinking water.
